Helen was very helpful with the minefield that is involved in redoing a bathroom. From the drawings and planning and helping with the myriad of options available for suppliers and products. Helen has been designing bathrooms and kitchens for awhile so it was good to get her advice on all the different bathroom showrooms and tile suppliers.

I am thrilled with my new bathroom and the space is a much more workable option that my previous configuration.

Unerring Sense of Design & Perspective

Helen has been an invaluable help in the recent renovation of our large Victorian terrace. She designed our kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry, bathrooms and family room. She produced beautifully executed plans which combined her professional skill as a draughtswoman with an unerring sense of design and perspective.

She is warm, approachable and, most important of all, listens to her clients in terms of their ideas and concerns. She liaised with our architect and builder with unfailing courtesy which, given the different skills they bring to a job, is sometimes not an easy task. She helped us source interior design items for our home, ie: lighting, mirrors, fabrics and furniture.

We lived in the house during the renovation which made the whole process much more difficult. Helen came to every meeting with a sense of calm which diffused the tension on sometimes very stressful days. We were always very relieved to see her and cannot recommend her more highly other than to say I don’t think we could have managed without her help.

A True Inside / Outside Design

Helen added a new level of design & professionalism to our renovation project. Helen took our initial design for remodelling the rear of our house & significantly improved on it. The design incorporated removing internal walls to enlarge the kitchen & family areas, a new laundry, main bathroom & toilet as well as a redesigned deck. The deck is accessed through bi-folds from the new family area & features a gas fireplace & shutters for screening.

I Love the Design!

It is now three years since Helen designed my kitchen in Avalon & it still feels like a new kitchen. I love the design & find it a really functional area. During the design phase, Helen was wonderful to work with, gave great advice & was able to recommend good contacts. I wanted to incorporate some vintage pieces of furniture, which I had bought a number of years ago, into the design. Helen was not only happy to do this, but also had some great ideas as to how they could be incorporated into the kitchen. I enjoyed working with Helen & was so happy with the design that I asked her to also design my bathroom & European laundry.

Helen worked tirelessly to work out the best layout for my small apartment’s bathroom / laundry space. Faced with a number of design challenges, Helen was able to provide me with detailed drawings & 3D visuals which really helped with the decision making process. She also provided me with a great selection of products, that suited my aesthetic. I now have a beautiful, contemporary bathroom that I love.

Helen has a wonderful flair for creating a space that is both functional & looks fantastic. She is very practical in her approach to including ample storage & adequate bench space & is great at creating solutions for a space that add a sense of light & spaciousness. Her drawing skill with drafting plans is of the highest standard & very useful for clients wanting to use these plans to then obtain quotes from. Detailed & Accurate Drawings

Helen has a great eye for detail & came up with numerous ideas to maximise the use of space & incorporate useful features. The new enlarged kitchen/family area with bi-fold doors leading onto the new deck has significantly improved the functionally & usefulness of this area & has proven to be great for parties & family gatherings. A true inside/outside design.

Helen worked very well with the builders & us, it was a collaborative & professional relationship on all sides to the benefit of the project & the final result. Helen provided very detailed & accurate drawings including 3D imaging which greatly assisted both us & the builders in conceptualizing & then implementing the design. The builders expressed their delight at having such high quality drawings to work from. The project was much more than just a new kitchen or bathroom & Helen did a great job in designing the whole project.

We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen, bathroom & ensuite that Helen designed & can’t thank her enough. Kitchen Renovation WOW!

My new kitchen was a WOW with my guests at my Christmas drinks, it has completely transformed my house. Not only does it have a glamour factor, it is highly functional for the cook. We use our beautiful dining table for formal dining and as a grazing table when entertaining.

Your assistance with the finer detail such as the hardware led to a finishing touch that was noticed by a number of our guests. Thank you Helen, we highly recommend you and your design service.
